Charlie the Coyote.

Charlie's an orphan coyote who is being raised by Shreve Stockton, a woman who lives in rural Wyoming, and her tabby cat Eli. She's an evocative photographer, and an articulate writer.

Yeah! They are such elegant looking creatures. And it's amazing to see it interacting with the kitty as another cat, pretty much.

This only worsens my dog envy. We have coyotes up here (in the city no less) and it's tempting to want an orphan as a pet.

George Foreman would not be thrilled with this.

That makes a happy morning. We have coyotes out near us and they inevitably wake me in the night with their 'talk' (howling to one another). It always makes me smile. I love that they're out there, doing their thing. It's awesome to see pictures of one like this.
