Book report #95: Douglas, Burgess, Ressler et. al. Crime Classification Manual
Yet another criminology text. This one bills itself as "A standard system for investigating and classifying violent crimes."
Interesting and informative. Not a lot of stuff that was new to me, but arranged in an easy to reference fashion.
Now I need to read a book about fluffy bunnies. And chirping birds.

Yeah.
Cabana boys with good hands, that's where it's at...
But now you've planted an idea in my head. I need to go spray for that right now before it grows.
Uh...the text you were reading, it's for research, right? Have you ever heard of the Center for Homicide Research (http://www.chronline.org/)? It was started up by a friend of mine about 10 or 15 years ago, and it's main focus is on GLBT homicide. I don't know if this'd be of any use to you, but...
And the page included this link, which I thought was also pretty interesting.
On a different note, I just got back in from the May Day Festival, and while watching the parade thought, "Oh, this must be like what Bordertown is like all the time!"
Two cents more
Re: Two cents more
Two cents more, that'll make four
That aside, I've read part of this lovely tome and found it did cover all the basics. At least from what I recall.
