Wordle, a Java applet that makes word clouds out of your fiction... or anything else you got.

I had to hack it a little. "William" should be "Will," of course, but it edits that out as a common word.

Hmm. I wonder what that book is about.

It strikes me that "Kit William" would be an interesting name for an adventure-story hero.

Also, that is seriously cool.

It also resonates with Titwillow....

Kind of reminds me of http://www.textarc.org/
Which is quite interesting in its own way, but I don't know if the person who created TextArc is doing anything new with it. I just wish it allowed you to input your own works interactively, because it's kind of wild.

Oh wow
This is cool because it is beautiful, and almost complete useless.
A selection from my work in progress.

Thanks for the link

Interesting. I just pasted in some flap copy...I wonder what would happen if I just put the resulting image on the back of a paperback book?

Masquerade
I would assume you're already aware of Kit Williams, and Masquerade? If not, I suspect you'd enjoy reading up on it.

Java hates me so I couldn't see it, but the little version is pretty cool.

(I just finished Whiskey and Water yesterday and was so prepared for massive soul-crushing trauma that when it ended I was a little bit shocked. And then the "NEED MORE NOW" kicked in, but that's beside the point.)
