Fforde. Fforde. Fforde. Fforde. Fforde. Fforde. Fforde.

Collectively, we made close to 3.5K on the Unexpected Collaboration today. Along with my 1.2K on SM, I'm going to call it a successful writing day and goof off. I'm not sure yet if I want to play pinball, or read.

I may read another chapter of the Bujold book, I think, since I finished the Fforde. I just like typing Fforde.

I'm trying to retrain myself to read for enjoyment, which is quite the struggle. I think I need to establish two parallel protocols: reading to edit, and reading for enjoyment. Because not only does it slow me down to stop and question choices every couple of lines, but it also makes it damned hard to enjoy a story.

Fforde. Fforde. Fnord. Fforde. Fforde. Fforde. Fforde. Fnord. Fforde. Fforde.

I'm actually not bad about editing my own stuff: I seem to be past the stage where I couldn't write if I thought about it.

It's that as a 'zine reader I've learned to read every damned word of every damned story. Which makes reading other stuff sometimes rather a chore.....

And there's another name I'll have to add to my to read list. Which is getting ridiculous.
