the challenge is keeping up with my body's protein and carbohydrate demands in a healthy way
Oh man TELL me about it. It's been actively shocking to me, these last two weeks especially, just how HUNGRY I am all the time because of lifting. Not so much immediately in the wake of the exercise, but in all the hours afterward.
