Awesome, can't wait for the next part!
For me it's not just the happy - but the competent, from the people competent to the running a restaurant / bar competent, to the tech competent. His life is moving.
But no matter what, he's gotten this far. He's got a good job, he's got respect and support. The whole thing with the bike in the backstory just made me tear up.
He's finally got a life beyond dealing with Eddie. Even though he still deals with Eddie, it doesn't seem like that's the whole focus of his life anymore, and that is so good to see!
