I've so far heard only the most limited of outlines, 'cause it's been something of a hellish week at work and listening to News Radio on the way to/from work was about all the brains I could spare.
I hadn't heard anything about Mr Ramsey, other than he was there, was black and helped, and that a lot of people were laughing at the way he's presented himself. I've heard some of that was a deliberate use of humour on his part, yet, as you say, that only increases his heroism, not decreases it. I've also heard he was asked about reward money, and stated it should go to Ms DeJesus, Ms Knight, and Ms Berry (and her daughter) instead. "I've got a paycheck" is the quote, i believe. And he works as a dishwasher?
That *alone* marks him as a hero in my book. To say nothing about the rest of it.
Bravo to all of them, may their lives only continue to improve from here on.
