docbrite did that too, and it sounds like it might be more satisfying than the way I've been doing it, which is just listing the incomplete and in-progress things piled in my hard drive like so many failed relationships. The idea of that version is to guilt one's self into finishing things, so that the next time one does the meme, there are fewer unfinished stories in the pile. blubeagle's version actually involves an acknowledgement of having got something done.
I am bad at celebrating having got something done. (As we have established earlier this week.) It sounds like fun.
...but too much work today.
Best grilled cheese sandwich ever:
Slice off two thin slices of sourdough boule. Grate up some good gouda and some sharp Vermont cheddar cheese, about a half ounce or an ounce of each. Put the grated cheese on one of the slices of bread. On the other slice of bread, put a smear of pesto.
Cut in half.
(I guess for those of you on the other side of the puddle, that's a toasted cheese sandwich? In any case. Mmmmmm.)
I might go for a walk today. If I decide I'm not coming down with a cold after all, which would be, you know, a typical reaction to getting to the end of kind of a marathon work.
That would be nice. But right now, I'm going to curl up with a book.
