it's been the ruin of many a poor girl and me, oh god, i'm one.

There's just something about the Ghostbusters soundtrack that makes any day a better day.

And news like this improves it even further.

Okay, I'm going to do some math and then walk to the bank. (It occurs to me that I could also even walk to the concert tonight: it's only 2.4 miles.* Hmm.)

And then guitar practice and more Maul.

*Have I mentioned that I love where I live?

That's amazing! Thanks for sharing the link.
(It occurs to me that I could also even walk to the concert tonight: it's only 2.4 miles.* Hmm.)

The post-concert walk home might not be so nice though, what with the dark and the possible raining and all. I'd offer a ride back, but my car, she is wee and full.
Dark and rain are par for the course, really. Although I don't really think it will rain.

Excellent that you are coming!
Oh wow. My mom has had type 1 diabetes since she was little. That's terrific. Thank you for sharing the link.
Diabetes is practically epidemic in my family. This is exciting news.
Yeah. I'm lucky in that I'm adopted, so less likely to get it, but my mom has it, her sister, and at least one of my cousins on that side of the family. Its really, really wonderful news. :)
*g* actually, my town isn't that small, but my neighborhood is close to everything.
Should be. *g*

Now, what does it have to do with Ghostusters, actually?
Did you look at the "music" tag?
Er, uh, yeah, but I'm still don't get it. But I'm easily confused today as I'm running around preparing to debark for D.C.
Alas I don't think this work for me, my diabetes comes from a damaged pancreas, not an immunity malfunction.

*looks at thousands of needles on desk*

Oh, well.
one day they'll be able to cure us :)

The future is kind of coming fast.
It really is. I worked as a Psyche Nurse in England for a while. If I'd been told back then they would have possible preventions/cures for Parkinson's and Altzeimer's now I don't think I'd have believed them.

That sounds so neat and clean in the article, but I think they are glossing over a lot. Still good news, though.
What concert, where?

I am full of woe that I missed Iggy and the Stooges (sigh, hours cut meant no money for it) but I am very curious about what's tonight.
Nothing you would care about. *g* Vienna Teng.
What I've heard, I've liked, but I admit it hasn't prompted me to go chase more down. :)

Mostyl i was wondering because of the 2.4 miles from where you live, and wondering if you were contemplating a trek through the dodgy neighborhoods that'd bring you to the Webster, or if this were somewhere else walking through less of a DMZ.

Hartt School?
UHART, yes.
Mm. Memories.
