'Twas a cold and snowy night?
"It was still snowing."
Three points.
I hate snow.
On our way home this evening, we heard our local NPR evening news continuity guy (who my wife and I refer to as The Great Lemzini, inform us that we were going to have 'sleet and slow' overnight. Or it could have been 'sleet and sloe'.
What... no dark and stormy night?

*Is disappointed.*

*And running away...*
Curious. I've attempted to write a novel several times, and the first line is always "It was raining".
You have an Unbound Harp icon! You have two! My favorite "I'm stuck in the middle of this damn book and I'm never going to finish and why didn't I take up underwater basketweaving when I was in college" pick-me-up.

That is SO COOl.
I have three. I use this one in celebration of dead manuscripts.

They are yours to borrow if you like them!
Thank you! A bit beyond my LJ skills, I suspect. But not as far as making one myself from the "dreadful, dreadful, DREADFUL" page, which is my Personal Mantra For Mid-Novel Blues.
Would you like me to make you one?
Oh. Wow. Would you?

It would make me unspeakably happy.

I just re-read the whole thing, because I AM at the "Dreadful, dreadful, DREADFUL" point of my book, and had (unaccountably) forgotten all about TUH. Much better now. There's something about being 2 chapters from the end that is, well, trying.
Yes.

And sure, I would love to do that for you. *g*
