Apparently, "Tideline" is the little short story that could, as I have just discovered that it's nominated for a Locus Award in addition to all its other recent acknowledgements. Wow, there are a lot of worthy books and stories by worthy persons on that list.

And speaking of "Tideline," a podcast version is now available on Escape Pod.

And may I say congratulations!
Thank you!
You can haz Locus?
Oh! Congrats! I was almost emailing you that earlier but I assumed you'd have seen it first and then I got all busy poking at my gut area. ;)
Congratulations!
"Tideline" choked me up like whoa the first two times I read it. I'm working up the nerve for a third go-round. Congratulations on the awards and nominations - I think it's entirely deserving!
Aww. Thank you!
Yay! It's one of my favorite stories of the year, and I've nominated it for everything I can!

Congratulations!

Congrats on another well-deserved accolade for Tideline, Elizabeth!

It's the story that introduced me to you, and I've been happy to learn the personality behind the fiction is just as kind, lovely and humane as the words promised.

I rave a bit more about you here:

(Please let me know if you take issue with being referred to as "lady"; I know some do and if you're one such, I'll find a synonym that still works without compromising the rhythm I felt "lady" gave to the opening of the para.)

Best wishes,
Stephen
Thank you. And no, no issues.

That's actually been my hope with this blog, that other people would find it useful. So yay.
