Oh, grr. In addition to the word rep, I found something I obviously changed my mind about halfway through the book, without realizing I'd already said something different twice before. So now I have two instances of case A and two instances of case B, and I like case B much better, so I am going to have to figure out how to fix the two instances of case A without messing up my page breaks.

Foolish book. Foolish author.

One who is not intimately involved in the process of writing books (or creating television shows) has no idea how hard continuity is.

Seriously. It's the next best thing to impossible.
