And in a household update (I should be reading this graphic novel I'm supposed to be reviewing, but I don't like it. Bah. I will have to go back to that later, though.) Charlotte the kitchen-window spider who lives among the orchids and the flowering ginger and the pitcher plants has molted, and is now a slightly bigger spider with an empty spider-husk in her web.
I like Charlotte. Between her and the Sarracenia, my house has been fly-free all summer.
Also, my lime tree has a tiny lime on it, and the Buddha's hand, which keeps failing to set fruit (I think it's still too small), is thinking about flowering again.
Some days I really like my tiny apartment and my life.
