Via theninth, Ernie repairs Burt's TV, with bonus commentary on the television producers...

I've been looking for a youtube of my favorite Muppets Moment, which is Kermit drinking milk in the first season of the Muppet Show, but the youtubers seem not to love it as I do.

Maybe on the Muppet Wiki it's somewhere?

Ooo, maybe.
Good luck!
Do you remember which episode it is? Because we have the first season DVD set, and I think I might be able to figure out how to rip it off the DVD for you...
Oh, I have it on DVD. It's just that every time I link Muppet stuff, I wish that bit were on youtube....
Well, if you download the DVD Decrypter program, you ought to be able to get the video and audio from the episode onto your hard drive. (I've been using it to rip audio off some of my obscure concert DVDs.) Then you'll have to figure out how to edit it down to just the bit you want...
That defeats the purpose. *g*
I believe it's in the first episode on the first-season Muppets DVD set. Right after "Mahnamahna". Because it's not just a random bit of Kermit drinking milk; it's a *position statement*.
Yep. It's when Kermit slurps from the straw, looks up at the camera, and says "Think about this for a minute."

It's fucking brilliant with the fourth-wall SMASH.
I think that many, if not most, of the muppets videos available right now are viral promotions for an upcoming Disney release. I'm pretty sure that someone on my flist mentioned this recently.
For some reason, Burt really reminded me of Ray Romano in that skit. I'm not sure why.
"Hammer" is indeed a good H word.
