What's really amusing the hell out of me is that, at this point in time, if you dropped me in the center of Tudor London, I could give directions to the tourists.
"Oh, the Black Bull? That's north of here and a bit East, just by Bishopsgate. Just keep going past the Leadenhall market. You can't miss it. It's next door to the Green Dragon. If you're in Bedlam, you've gone too far."
I suppose that last is true no matter when you happen past, isn't it?
