631 words on the devil ponies today, which was very satisfying. I'm still not sure what the A narrative is, but the structure overall is non-trad and calls for a certain amount of stunt writing, which is balancy and fun.
I do know more or less how it comes out in the end, however. So that's something. And the protagonist has a name, which is nice.
Now the story just needs a name, too. Pity there's nothing in "All the Pretty Little Horses" worth swiping except the title, which is overused already.
