a wolf-age, a wind-age

As you may have gathered, I'm going to be busting out all over the place in the next two weeks. Which is to say, I'm appearing (or being produced, in magician's terminology) in the following places and times:

October 27, 2009
6:30 PM The Soho Gallery for Digital Art, 138 Sullivan Street, NY, NY
This is a group celebration for Ellen Datlow's anthology Lovecraft Unbound, in which I have a story with Sarah Monette--"Mongoose,"--set in the same world as Fast Ships, Black Sails' "Boojum."

November 01, 2009
2:00 PM Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park, NY

November 01, 2009
6:00 PM Flights of Fantasy Books, 381 Sand Creek Road, Colonie, NY

November 14, 2009
6:00 PM The Science Fiction Association of Bergen County, Saddle River Valley Cultural Center, 305 West Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Bergen County, NJ

Come see me!

...and then I'm going to go hide in my cave and write books until it's time for 4th Street. Well, I'll have plenty of times to write books in my head while driving.

Oh, and my 20th high school reunion is this month, too, if I make it.

You're going to the SGDA? I believe that's John Ordover's project or that he's involved in it somehow--I think. He and I have known each other for years. If I'm right and you see him there, do say hello for me.
Sure! I have no idea who he is, but I will look for him!
John was, for many years, the prime editorial mover at Pocketbooks behind the Star Trek line. He is many other things (she says as a result of so many years of acquaintance) but the Trek association is the one most likely to place him on your personal map.
I'm quite sure you will be visited by the Atwood/Allen clan at one of your two stops on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing you!
Do you ever get out to Southern California? I have a bunch of your books but I'd love to hear you read...
Will be sorry to miss you in San Jose and San Diego. Perhaps another time...
I miss you, and San Diego. :-( I can't afford it, though.
When I lived in Nevada, I used to make ComiCon. I love San Diego, but diagonally cross country is an awfully long haul and it's pretty expensive.

These days, I mostly go where people are willing to pay for me to go, unless it's driving distance.

See, if you were coming to this Clifton Park, I'd be able to come along! As it is....... *le sigh*
There's a Clifton Park in England? Neat! (I grew up in the NY one.)
Coincidentally, I grew up near the Rotherham one.

Maybe we're related ;-)
You never know. I do have a lot of British ancestors... ;)
Huzzah for all the exciting appearancesproductions!

my 20th high school reunion

And isn't it just a Magician's trick to have it be 20 years already? Surely t'was the 80s just a few months ago...
