wire in the blood, writing shadow unit todd remorseful

i know it's unkind but my own blood is much too dangerous

I have been a mighty, mighty bear tonight. 3080 words on "The Unicorn Evils," and 700 words on a review for Tor.com.

It wasn't that Solomon Todd hadn't seen this sort of thing before.

It was that he had.

Phew. And I get to get up in the morning and do it again.

Y'know, I read that as "The Unicorn Elvis" ;>.>
Funny you should mention that... Duke tells this story...no, forget I said anything.

("When I said we, Officer, I meant myself, both young ladies and the goat.")
"...especially the goat. It's an angora goat. They do surgery on them to get the horn like that....

"The sequined cape? Costume party."

",,, but you don't look Elvish..."

Me too. Though I suspect that a story about a unicorn who was an Elvis impersonator might go down quite well in some (small) circles.
oOoOoOoO.... *stands in awe*
You are taunting us.
And we, apparently, love you for it.
Oh Sol <3

I started watching Wire in the Blood yesterday, since so many people had been recommending it, and now I want to reread all of SU imagining Robson Green as Todd. I'm not sure whether to thank you or curse you for stealing up all my free time ;)
It's kind of stunning how well that work, isn't it?

If only the WitB character had a Zen.
shadow unti

Shadow Unti? I thought the Man From U.N.C.L.E. inspired the show, not the Woman From A.U.N.T.!

I'm a loser at the top of my game.
Er, no - not a loser. Especially not on nights wherein the Bear is Mighty, Mighty indeed.
Yeah, I'm a crappy typist. Bite me.
