Apparently, mainlining five episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race (OMG, how did I not know about this?) last night before bed results in sound sleep and waking up full of ideas for the mighty drag werewolf story I've been stuck on since 2005.

*sings* Start you engines!

Love, love, love it.
I'm in love with the fact that the catchphrase for the show is "Good luck, and don't fuck it up."
Ha! I always feel less guilty about my bad-TV viewing when someone whose work ethic I so respect can't resist the shows, either :)
And a drag-wolf? The depilatory process--oy!
When you are a writer, everything is research.
Well, you managed to elicit a guffaw from me this morning already. Good show.
My wife is of the opinion that every reality show could be improved with the addition of drag queens.
they finally found a reality show FOR ME.

(Okay, I really liked the season of The Surreal Life with Erik Estrada and Ron Jeremy playing den mother to a herd of narcissistic weirdos, but that was special.)
Okay, that was probably the best Surreal Life ever. Who'd have thought that Ron Jeremy would be the RESPONSIBLE one???
I know! And he and Estrada were being all Vanilla Ice Has Two Daddies, and it just cracked my shit up. *g*
That season ruined the show to me. It would never be as good again.
Some years ago, I learned that Ron Jeremy has a degree in education and taught special ed for some time before becoming an actor.

Is this Surreal Life available on DVD or something? Because although I have never heard of it before, that season sounds fascinating!
It was Season 2, I think, if that helps you find it.
NINJA Drag queens.
Ok, now I really want a ninja drag queen reality show.
Why do you think I need to write a story about a drag werewolf.
Apparently you have not spent any time in the NYC subway system over the past several months ... the ads are EVERYWHERE down there. :)

RuPaul is teh awesome, on every level.
On the off chance you have not seen this before: here, have a RuPaul and Elton John duet.
Might drag werewolf story? Wow ... I would read that in a New York minute!
It still needs a plot....
I love that show! I am so very happy that others seem to love it as well. Not sure, however, if I could watch five episodes in a row like that. More power to you.
I maintain high hopes bout Jujubee, but if Tyra takes this season I may not be able to drag myself back (so to speak) for the next. This is one of only two reality type shows I not only enjoy but will not miss an episode of.
Jujubee and Sahara, so far, are my favorites, but I am only on episode 2. Tyra makes me wanna spit.
Tyra is just a vacuous Beyonce wannabe, though I have high hopes for her elimination next week after seeing the monstrosity of a gown she puts together. I know the judges rag on Pandora Boxx's style but I prefer it to Tyra's nonsense any day. God I can't believe there are only a couple of episodes left, I don't know what I'm going to do without my weekly dose of fabulousness.
I *heart* RuPaul's Drag Race. It's got everything a reality show should have, fashion, clever meta commentary (via the challenges) and runway shows. I mainlined the first season like you did, am watching the second season show by show.
So far, the second-season contestants are not winning my heart so much (But then, it would be hard to beat Bebe, Nina, and Ongina) and I am only two episodes in. *g*

And yes, I don't watch TV much in general, but this is kind of special.
