It's supposed to be in the 90s tomorrow.

Screw this. We're going to the beach.

I don't suppose you could mail some of that heat to California? Right now London has better weather than we do.
While you're at it, could you mail some of the beach here?
You can have it. I like a nice seventy degrees. And maybe rainy.
I'm in California. Santa Clara Valley. Should be at least 80 and sunny. It is grey, it is raining, and it is 60 degrees.

And I have to wear business clothes!
::shakes tiny impotent fist at landlocked state of residence::
Still time to hop a plane...

It's absurd, but I'm looking forward to Madison providing much better weather than San Francisco currently is. It's raining and 53 degrees right now.

Enjoy yourself!
53 might be a little chilly, but man, I have such a heat headache right now....
man, I have such a heat headache right now....

As do I. This is so not on.
Oh, well -- enjoy the 26 remaining days of spring however you like.
"We've replaced New England's May with its August. Let's see if anyone notices!" *dies of heatstroke*
Beats two straight weeks of rain all hollow. Oregon's supposed to have gotten that out of its system by this point!
It's been 90 here for the past couple of days, and I've been celebrating by lying on the couch in my pajamas, playing video games and reading Sherlock Holmes. Unemployment does have its benefits.
I spend my days stuck under an over-blasting A/C vent all year round.

Thank god for lunch break -- I am going to head to Bryant Park and bake like a lizard.

(Under a nice shady tree, that is.)
Ooof. I am a thick-bodied Slav. It gets over 70 and I am unhappy.

We do not dissipate heat well. *g*

The beaches I am heading to this weekend are supposed to be in the low 70's.

Who the hell swapped out California and New England's weather?

(not that I am complaining, as hiking in 70 degrees is much nicer than hiking in 90 degrees)

Also - didn't part of New England just get frost a couple of weeks ago? wthell mother nature?
This IS normal New England weather. Including the frost thing.

As Mark Twain said, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute."

Why do you think we TALK about it all the time???

Ah true.

That's the thing about surviving 3 New England winters, but never staying long enough to get the summer weather - I always forget that New England actually gets hot. :)
SRSLY. Tonight I went out to dinner, partially because the restaurant had AC and that way I could let my home AC chug away at the heat in my house while I was elsewhere. (The other part was that I was buying dinner for my friend the Cleaning Fairy and Designated Kicker Of My Ass; she helps me declutter this disaster both directly and as moral support/motivator, and I feed her. Everyone's happy.)
We hit the dizzy heights of 25 celsius here in Edinburgh over the weekend -- 77 of your quaint fahrenheit degrees -- with 70% relative humidity. Ugh, hideous!

If it happens again I'm going to have to drag the portable aircon (that I have for the roughly one week a year when it does this) out of storage and chill my office. Brain stops working above 22 degrees ...
That sounds like fairly nice cool weather to me....
Yes but

Yes but <lj-user="autopope"> comes from a land of cruel weather.
Cold wet and grey here in CA, thank goodness I'm on my way to Ireland. :)
