Spy icons!

Okay, the set's more or less complete. I may add Leonard Nimoy and Honor Blackman at some point, and possibly Noel Harrison and Stephanie Powers.

I added two Grrrl from UNCLE icons, because I realized I'd left Leo G. Carroll out! Shame!, and also found a great shot of Honor Blackman, so I did that one too.

But currently, we have:

Man from U.N.C.L.E. --*lots*-- of those
Girl from U.N.C.L.E.
Danger Man (Secret Agent)
The Invisible Man
The A-Team (well, okay, it's David McCallum in an A-Team episode)
The Equalizer
The Avengers --*lots*-- of those
Mission:Impossible --*lots*-- of those, too
Wild Wild West
I Spy
and Christopher Marlowe, just because *g*

If you're grabbing one, just let me know. My plan is to use them as sort of a supplemental mood icon set. Because I'm not giving up Wild Bill!

I'm swiping the 'Secret Agent' pic. God, I loved that show. Wish I could see it again.

Wish I could see it again, being ten years old and never having seen it before.

Without having to go to school the next day.

There's a man who leads a life of danger
To everyone he meets he stays a stranger
With every move he makes another chance he takes
Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow

Secret agent man, secret agent man
They've given you a number and taken away your name
It's available on videotape--and DVD, I think. *g*
Your dreamy picture of Diana Rigg is the same image I used for Fiona in House of Cards.

I'm not ready to give up my purple cats (they're *purple*!) but that is one cool icon set.
Oooh. Wild Wild West!
So, why is Artemus Gordon (one of my all time favorite tv characters, btw) "more grounded than the average spy"?
Artie? Because he is! *g*

Actually because that was the best facial shot I found of him, and he just looks so--cheerfully down to earth in that particular shot.

I have a soft spot for sidekicks. Does it show?

Hmmmmm, yes it does show a bit around the edges. :-D

I love sidekicks. They're almost always more interesting to me than the leads. The lead characters are usually too perfectly perfect for me to find them at all interesting. Even their flaws tend to be perfectly perfect flaws. Sidekicks tend to have personalities and quirks. While the alpha-male lead is hogging the camera, being all manly and studly, and getting all the best lighting and women, the sidekicks tend to be always slightly off center in the background, being quietly dazzling, brainy, or eccentric.

Yup, I love the sidekicks.
Besides, I think character actors are often better at their jobs than leads, not being able to slide by on looks.
Lovely job... I snagged a couple... but I don't remember which ones... I'll let you know. Great pictures of Patrick McGoohan and Honor Blackman though...
