Range of Ghosts Marathon Metrics, 5:25 pm 23 September 2010

This is less a marathon than a slow, agonizing grind.

Still, only a chapter and a half left to get through, and I know everything that happens in them. I'd be tempted to just abandon this thing here, except I only have three weeks to make it shine after VP.

Manuscript stands at: 364 / 80,313
Words added: 2821
Hours since marathon commencement: 21:05
Sleep: 9.5 (apparently, I needed that.)
Bathing: 2
Sustenance: redneck thai hot and sour soup (x2), ginger snaps (x2), chocolate (x2), yogurt with maple syrup, kale chips, cinnamon toast, apple
Tea: bancha and mint, coffee
Liquor: a vodka cocktail, scotch, oatmeal stout
Exercise: climbed for 1 hour, some yoga, some more yoga, archery--leaving for that nowish, in fact.
Dancing: up the walls of the world
Distractions: The Indelicates, rejection letters
Research: indigo, terror birds, range of the Eurasian jackdaw, mint plants,
Mean things: trudging across the tundra desert, mile after mile.
Current project: Get me to the other side of this wasteland. PLEASE.
