--30--

I just emailed in Range of Ghosts to my agent, my editor, and my agent's adorable assistant, having written something like 16,000 words in the past three days.

I know it's missing stuff, and there's stuff that could be better, but we call it a draft because it's full of holes, and I love, love, love these people.

And that's it. The last of the insane 2010 deadline tree has gone down under my mighty wheels. I still have work to do (see below) but it's not on anything like the meat-grinder of a schedule I have been on.

I'm going to go die in a heap now. And figure out what to make for dinner.

Post-novel ennui in 3,2,1... ...fortunately, I have the galleys for Grail to get through by the 21st. So I have paying work that does not require much brain.

Oh, and tonight I finally get to watch this week's Castle. Aces.
