You've already read Deathless? I thought it comes out in March or April!
April. I'm a book reviewer.
Lucky!
Does your contract allow you to express its relative level of awesomeness?
It's good, but it has some problems. Were you really expecting a different answer? ;-)

Pretty much not. :-)
Worth your time, though.
Hee. Desdaemona. Umm, silly question, but does it include an author bio?
(And I applaud your musical selection. I love that soundtrack.)
I have an e-copy, and it does not.
"Ben Macallan is the boy your mother warned you about, the one with the motorbike and the cool clothes and the dangerous superpowers. He shoots round corners without looking, can put on his socks without bending and finds new planets as a Sunday afternoon hobby. He sometimes hangs out in smoky bars, where he plays saxophone and talks philosophy. Several schools claim to have taught him, but he never turns up for Speech Day. He may be watching you, but you'll never know. He lives where he lives, and always stops to speak to cats and Big Issue vendors."

This bio copyright one Kari Sperring, as it happens. Solaris took it unexpectedly seriously. (I am Ben is liking being published by Solaris.)
That's the Ben I know. ;-)
Oh, boo. (I wrote it. Rather by accident, but...)
NB: check comment thread before replying, Kari. I see Chaz has already said this. Ho hum.

Curious Kaz is curious

Dear Bear, may I ask where you tend to read most? I am in awe of your Speed!Reading! Special Powers, though I know you have to read fast for your reviewing job. Also, some people just *do* read fast.

But you write, too! Like, for a job and everything. And you have a GRD to look after + other creatures.

So... do you actually curl up in a chair and just READ? Do you read while doing other things? Do you read in bed and stay up late? Do you listen to audiobooks?

Enquiring minds (i.e. Kaz) want to know.

Cheers! :)

Re: Curious Kaz is curious

Five books in fourteen days seems like pretty slow reading, to me.

I read, you know, like a normal person. When I have time.

Re: Curious Kaz is curious

Dude, I wish I could read faster. I get through a book a week, which is SO standard. I have this really irritating reading tic where I space out and have to go back to re-read. My brain is weird.
