each day the light gets born from the body of the night i'm torn

2440 words on The Shaded King this morning, for a total of 3K, and now--or shortly--off to do all that Being A Grownup stuff I gotta do.

I'm playing with Scrivener for Windows again. Our heroes were last seen motoring across the not-Sahara in a roadster with the top down. (It's night.) Soon they will have to stop and get on horses.

Then we will have some archaeology, and probably (alas) not a myrmecolion. Although maybe. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Playing with Scrivener for Windows as well, here. It seems to suit this one project fairly well, and I like keeping all the research and character notes in one place. It also seems to help me think of the book in scenes, which may or may not be a good thing. We will see when it's done.

How are you liking it?
Is Scrivener for Windows still in beta stage? I subscribed to the RSS feed for the website, but there hasn't been any news about it in ages. Any ETA on when the final version will be ready?
The only information I have is what's here:

They may be more on their forums.
Ah. That says June, 2011. Which is more information than I had before. Thanks!
