Reason for stopping: I've gotten the protag in a room with the latest batch of second-tier villains, and I don't know what they're going to talk about. But it must be fraught. Because it's one of those scenes where fraughtness is required. Also, I'm very tired, as this was another day of getting up at 3:30 for work, and I didn't sleep well in any case--and I have to go get the boy in half an hour, so I can't even lie down for a nap.

I'm on page 970, and I have 21 pages of notes and scene bits and outline bits after this.

I'm really tired. Did I mention that?

Progress notes

After a car trip, a nap, two kiwifruit (one yellow, one green) and three small slices of cheddar to replenish myself, another 326 words, bringing me to the end of Act V, scene vi.

That earthshattering kaboom you just heard was the boulder tipping over the top of the hill. It's all downhill from here on in.

'Scuse me now. Gonna have to run to keep up.
