Apparently it's review week. I haven't seen it yet, but JJA says there's a review of Hammered (and also Old Man's War, Cleopatra 7.2, and Coyote Rising) in the Feb. 4 Entertainment Weekly. Alas, it looks like I will have to trek across town if I want a copy, unless some kind soul out there in Internetland wants to tell me what it says.

FYI: steamed cabbage and baked chicken make a startlingly good soft taco, when one is constructing lunch from leftovers.

In other news, collaborations are like marriages, and I am fortunate in my collaborator. And I must be over my hormonal spike, because I like the wolf book again this morning.

ETA ...or I could have just asked John for a copy. *g* Thank you, JJA!

When you start eating seaweed on purpose, you've crossed a line over which there is no returning. And boy, I really like seaweed.

And, as sdowens kindly pointed out, the Scardown cover art is up at Amazon.

Purple and gold this time. I really do like that typeface an awful lot.

Gotta love those CAF-issue push up bras! I like the cover tag line on this one much better.

My editor tells me we can expect Jenny in rifle green for Worldwired, if everything goes according to plan.

ETA:

That's Marianne Faithfull singing backup. It's got to be. Okay, now I need to actually know what song this is, even if it does sound like every other Metallica song ever recorded except "Nothing Else Matters" and "Unforgiven."

Guys, find a new chord progression.

But whoot, Marianne!
