Reason for stopping: end of scene, and work
Mammalian Assistance: none
Stimulants: seltzer and pomegranate black tea, because I am a big copycat of misia's
Exercise: Yoga, plans to walk and gothercise later.
Mail: nomail
Tyop du jour: n/a
Darling du jour: Bunyip braced itself on one burly leg, which ended in a flippered claw, and extended the other delicately, a cat poking dust motes in a sunbeam.
Books in progress: Ed Sanders, Tales of Beatnik Glory; Neal Stephenson, Quicksilver
Interesting research tidbit of the day: traveling Bunyip exhibit flash site.
Other writing-related work: none

I am rather pleased with the way Bunyip is coming out. Restrained menace is a good quality in a water spirit.

...from the only in Las Vegas files--

Not entirely unanticipated but macabrely amusing breaking news as of when I left work this afternoon; Metro officers are searching the home of a Las Vegas woman who "discovered" a portion of a finger in her chili in a California Wendy's last month.

There's been a sort of unofficial pool running around the office as to when this would happen, as it's been becoming plain for the last week or so that nobody in the chain of production of said chili could be determined to be missing any fingers, leaving us one finger, shall we say, to the good.

Film, as they used to say, at 11.
