Hmm. This book is so very different from other books I have written. So very much more about the journey than the destination.

I wonder if this is what a mature novel feels like, or if I've simply lost the ability to plot and generate tension?

My dad bought a welder.

He wants to build a wind-driven music box out of old bicycles.
