nineweaving asks, "How do you work?"

And I want to give a good answer, except it changes from day to day. Sometimes I outline and sometimes I don;t. Sometimes I handwrite and sometimes I don't. Sometimes there's a whole huge shiny book in my head, shoving to get out, and sometimes I'm panning for flakes of gold that don't want to come.

I guess I'm a believer in always having a fallback plan.
