Viable Paradise update. Due to health reasons, Jay Lake has been forced to withdraw as an instructor. However, Steve Brust will be pinch hitting! Which is definitely bad news/good news.

Steve's an awesome teacher, and I look forward to learning from him.

Now you can, too.

Are there still class slots open? I know the deadline hasn't passed yet, but I thought it'd be worth asking.

Y'know, before I get these 8000 words of novel into shape to send to you all.
We won't be making any final decisions until after the deadline, naturally.

(Basically that means yes. All the class slots are still open.)

Thanks!

I ought to get to work then. *grins*
Request -- nay, demand -- that he play Railroad Bill. It is relevant to the workshop and will help students. :)
So true.
It's a damn shame about Jay, and I know we'll be wishing him the very best. I do look forward to a chance to work with Steve Brust, though -- I've been reading his stuff for years, and he's very much a writer I admire.

Now we just need to find out where he stands on curry.
I believe Steve to be pro-curry. I know him to be pro-paprikash.
More pro-curry than against. This means you have to make it again!
