ctwriter, and I attended the Connecticut rally in support of the Wisconsin unions yesterday.
There was signage:


As you can see, Uncle Sam was in attendance. (My favorite signs: "Walk like an Egyptian," and "Paws for Wisconsin.")
It was a good crowd, motivated and cheerful, and as you can see turnout was good. Most popular improvised chant of the day: "STOP THE BASTARDS!" But we did determine that the old standards are still best.
Being Yankees, the rallyers kept off the flowerbeds:

Afterwards, at the grocery store:

The Jeff: "Whaddaya know? I wonder if it cures unhealing wounds...."
