muppetology floyd pepper groovy

if something gets in your way, turn.

I skiied! It was terrifying! But I lived.

What does not kill us makes us stronger.

We categorically proved that I am not yet ready for blue squares, though. Also, that I ditch at the first sign of trouble.

I'm not sure this is worth the pain of ski boots, honestly. But I love the cross country bits.

Now I'm going to drink a nice glass of scotch, practice guitar, eat some chocolate, and figure out how chapter 5 of ad eternum starts.

ETA: I'm really NOT looking for unsolicited advice. Thanks. I appreciate that you think skiiing is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and I am happy for you.

Here's the galangal "ginger" beer when I first mixed it, and now, ready to drink:

2011 03 15 Ginger Beer 002  2011 03 17 Ginger Beer 005

It's actually kinda nice. Sharp and sweet, a little, you know... funkier... than ginger beer.

But it tastes far, far less like feet than Moxie does.

I wonder if scotch will help me play my F chords? I've managed to get both the F and the F#maj to mostly ring, but I can't get into them on the fly yet.

Practice, practice, practice

All right. Because so many have asked, and because this is the least scary thing I will do today... here's a download link to a very bad (like, recorded off the laptop microphone) recording of my very bad version of "Landslide."

If I seem to be singing harmony to an invisible melody... that's what I do.

Be kind. I'm an amateur. Especially don't notice that bit where I fluffed the picking pattern changeover. ;-)
