Teacup today: Teddy bear picnic

Goals for the day are simple: walk the dog, wash the dog, climb, go to the bank like a grownup or something, buy cat food.

My brain may be growing back slowly. It's been a long, long run of gnawing deadlines, and it's nice to have a couple of days when I don't absolutely have to work.

I'm thinking about postcard stories, too. A couple of more days of brain-refilling and I might even be competent to write some.

*She showed up on my back steps starving and dying of distemper as a 4-6 month old kitten in September of 1995. So every year, we guess.

It's worked out rather well for her, all things considered.

Climbing outside at Pinnacle Rock today with ashacat, The Jeff, and various others.

We did three easy routes, all of which I've sent before, and two of which were quite hard enough for me. I feel thoroughly exercised: this was only me second trip outside so far this year.
