I wonder when this turns into Zeno's Chapter. Theoretically, I only have a chapter and a half left. Traditionally that's when it strikes.

I am within about 30 pages of the contracted length, and still have that chapter and a half to go, and a couple of scenes to go back and add. Suspect I might be a little over in the final analysis, but I also suspect casacorona won't complain too much about 5% slop one way or the other.

Somewhere, that boy I like and kateelliott are mocking the little slip of a thing I call a novel. Hey, what can I say, I'd rather get paid three times for 400,000 words rather than only just once. *g*
