Why yes, it's page proof time!
I meant to stay up last night and finish, but as of 10 pm could not keep my eyes open. As a direct result, possibly, I was up at 3:20 am.
Still, now the page proofs are done, and other than househunting errands and climbing I have the rest of the day off.
Friday, I need to revise "Gods of the Forge" for the last time and submit it.
Saturday, I'm off to San Diego.
It's amazing how well this year is coming together, given how scary that to-do list looked in January. I mean, yeah, okay, I still kind of have to write and revise a novel in fourteen weeks. I've done it before, and the book is mostly in my head already anyway.
And having just reread Range of Ghosts--man, I'm excited to be back with these people, and bring them to meet their eventual fates. Though it's one more book after this one before that happens.
Apparently my ability to crush out on my books is coming back on line, because the incipient relationship with Shattered Pillars is looking like a thrilling joy ride, not a slog across the wastes of word count.
