A nearly-forgotten novelty. I'm not sure how to accomplish several things that need to happen for the plot--I mean, I know what narrative work the scenes do but not what actually happens in them--but what I am writing, the prose, is often actually flowing.
Without the pickaxe work that has been a major quality of every damned thing I have written for the last four years.
