Sigh. Viable Paradise sounds *so* tempting, especially with four authors whose work I really enjoy (including yourself of course) on the instructor list for this year. I can get a week off from work (as opposed to 4 for Odyssey, which is right in my back yard, and is just not possible). Do you have any sense of how stiff the competition to get in usually is?
Look at it this way: applying is cheap, and it's the only way to find out.

(Seriously. Writing is like anything else: you can't sell a story if you never submit a manuscript.)
It's a shame that I'm going to miss you at both 4th Street and Convergence this year. I'm been accepted to Taos Toolbox, and it's just too close to both of those conventions for me to take the time off.

I don't remember you ever writing about Convergence before -- if you've never been, you'll enjoy it. It's a party convention. Make sure you check out the House of Toast. :)
I was at Convergence in 2005. Long time since then. *g* Thanks for the beta. ;-)
Just bid on Bone and Jewel Creatures.
Thanks for donating- I went to Alpha last year and learned a lot, it's an amazing program.
Thank you!
