i'll find a map and draw a straight line

I just sent the manuscript for Steles of the Sky off to my editor and agent. It's only 30K over the contracted length.

I guess it's a real epic fantasy now.

Damn. That was novel number 25.

...guess I better get on that overdue Shadow Unit episode, huh?

Woo, congrats!
Yay! BOOK!

Congratulations! Also - see you in November then! :)
Yay! Now go do something frivolous and relaxing and goofy and silly, possibly involving alcoholic beverages of choice.
If that was novel #25, you have overtaken me!

I'm at, let's see ... 19 novels, half a collaboration, 2 short story collections, working on a trilogy making novels 20-22 inclusive, plus a half.

(I'm not counting omnibus editions collecting previously-published novels, of which there are five.)

Congratulations, anyway, and please try to take the rest of the day off? I need the time to catch up ;-)
I'm counting collaborations in that, including three with Emma or Sarah that are basically long novellas. (They are legit novels, over 40K, but one is only about 250 pages.)

Still. That's a lot.

Type fast; I hear you're onto something!
Woot! Well done.
Bravo, Bear!

Having finally gotten to read 'John Henry Holliday is sick of these time-travelling assholes'*, I have great faith that I will one day get to read Smile (unless its name is actually Salt Water), "Posthumous Jonson" and "On Safari in R'lyeh and Carcosa with Gun and Camera"

Some other day, you have more than earned some downtime here, if only for your poor overworked hands/wrist/fingers and brainmeats.

(*) And damn, but it was worth the wait and then some.
Oh, yay! I am really glad you liked it.

(Well, HE IS.)
Book! BOOK! *\o/*
Mazel tov! And 6 days before the deadline. Whatever will you do with all that free time?
catch up on other deadlines :-P *g*
I definitely don't get paid enough to be 100K over. At that point, I feel like it's time for an extra book, and an extra paycheck. :-P
(Also: Thank you! Yay!)
*brings glove-shaped icepacks*
