some moments that i've had. some moments of pleasure.

Since I hit 80K today, in kind of a marathon session, I am celebrating with a cocktail that consists of half a can of pears in pear juice whizzed in the blender with 2 ounces of bourbon, an ounce of ginger wine, some candied ginger, and a pinch of cayenne and a pinch of cardamom.

I hereby dub it the Cursory Google.

Go ahead and double that.

It'll save getting the blender out of the sink to use up the other half of the can.

Oh, that sounds very very tasty. (I'd have to use only about 1/4 of the alcohol, alas.) Ginger wine - Stone's Green Ginger? (Hm... 1/2 shot bourbon or vodka, 1/2 shot pear liqueur, 1/2 of ginger wine...) (Also, I've been making my own ginger syrup, might add a bit of that as well, because there is no such thing as too much ginger.)

Stone's is exactly the sort of thing I am thinking of. <3

Pear liqueur would be a nice add, but I don't have any here.
