Some day, I aspire to dropping to half-time work. But not until I've made some more money from my writing and my SO starts making a lot more. *sigh* Bully for you for being able to pull it off!

I didn't have much choice, actually--my hours were cut from about sixty a week to about twenty a week after 9/11, and the company I work for is still struggling.

I spent about two years starving quietly and trying to find another full time job and only landing temp work, and (thankfully) am not starving quite so badly now, although I wouldn't characterize my financial position as 'stable' yet by any means.
