Heeee!

Hey, still no cover art, but Hammered is now available for pre-order through Amazon.com.

And it looks like I've been moved up from January of 2005 to December of 2004. Assuming, of course, that that release date is accurate, which it may not be.

First I'd heard of it, anyway.

Guess I'd better finish the sequel, huh?

Comments

*g* Well, I posted the back-cover description and the blurbage here, but it doesn't seem to have hit Spectra's web catalog yet.
Cool!

Funny how that Amazon listing makes it seem real, isn't it? :-)
I imagine I'll actually faint dead away when I have one in my hands.
*squeeeeeeeeeee*

*hughughug*
You're an ISBN, man. Congratulations...
Dude. Talk about a life goal, huh?
You're also on Amazon.co.uk ::grins::

Hope the December release is accurate -- I'd been a little miffed about it being just after Christmas -- I believe I have relatives who need a copy.
Well, it also says so on Spectra's page, but you know...

Oh, look at that. I'm in pounds sterling. *g*

Noting that down...
Did you ever hear the story about how Wayne Dyer got his name out there for his first book? He took to the road for six months on a shoestring budget. One of the things he did was call bookstores asking for his book with a dozen different accents. It worked. Bookstores started thinking there was a great demand for his book, so they ordered extra copies. Then he'd call back and say he was the author in town and asked if they wanted to set up a book signing... and so on and so forth.

Anyway, I figure you've got a lot of people spread all over who could do that very thing - call the stores and get their awareness up. ;-)
Indeed. I have a wonderful, magical street team!
Ha! I already marked it down for purchase when I got the June Locus. ;)
Would you believe I don't have my damned June Locus yet? Dare I ask what they said and where?

I think my mailman reads them, because they always show up at the end of the month, and my envelope is always torn.
Added to my Wishlist :)

I was under the (mis?)impression that you were debuting in Hardcover. Amazon says Hammered is going to be a PB.

Good: I can buy more copies for friends
Bad: Less money for you.

Nope, MMPB for me.

And really, all that matters at this point in my career is the sellthrough. *g* If I clear my advance, I'm a very, very happy girl.
Eeee! It's in my saved list on amazon.co.uk. I'd put it on pre-order, but I don't know if I'm gonna be at the same address when it comes out. Well done!
*g* I appreciate it!
So. Cool!
Now all we need are dancing girls and a bottle of slivovitz.
The ourside world has noticed. It's a little freaky, in a good way.

And, Cthulhu was a hippie! It's so true, even though he likes to pretend he was just "experimenting" now.
Eeeee!!! Congrats!!!
eeee! ee! eeeee!

That's a very tolkeinesque logo you have going on there, by the way. *g* Spiff!

Another Milestone

in your conquest of the SpecFic publishing world.

Someday, I'll be able to say "I knew her when. . . ."

Congratulations.
