This book is completely marred by the handiwork of the Druckfehlerteufel —
"the imp who supplies the misprints."

O yes, the inimitable, usually long-winded Albert Goldbarth.

A couple of years ago for National Poetry Month, there was an "add to Goldbarth's 'Library' poem" activity. I contributed three or four lines, as did several hundred other people. The whole mess is up on the web somewherez.

This book is a mask: its author isn't anything like it.

I like that.

*nod* And yet people will assume we're something like our make-believe

That would be terribly depressing. I'm less interesting, less brilliant, less varied, and altogether less dark than my make believe. =)

Not to mention "The Book I'm Not Reading."
