'Phantom menace' on the international space station.

Symptomatic of the sort of stuff we just have to shut our eyes tight and ignore if we're ever going to get any science fiction written....

Hey, thanks! That's a very interesting link.

Amazing all the things that need to be considered. And how, even when you think you've covered all the bases, there's always that one last little detail that screws things up.
You're welcome. And yes.

You can never think of everything. :-P

I can see some poor engineer at NASA reading about this and then yelling 'Oh, come on!' before collapsing into his coffee. Next thing you know they'll figure out the station might spin into the sun if the astronauts stare at it too hard.

It's another one of those great, tightly-plotted pieces of reality. *g*
speaking of skiffy stuff -- we need to get together at WorldCon, if you're still coming....! Alcohol will be involved.
Absolutely we do, and will. I'm looking forward to it. *g* Do you have your panels, etc, yet?
do I have panels. Oy. E-mail me and we'll work soemthing out. When do you arrive?
