nihilistic_kid, I absolutely hate you for the fact that you actually have me thinking hard enough that I had to get back up out of bed to post this, but it occurs to me that the McCaffery position on green riders bottoming (send the pun police) that you linked ties in perfectly to discussions that have been held elsewhere in livejournal regarding rape-fantasies and Pern. (I'd ask papersky if she could find the link to that discussion, but she's entraining, I believe. coffeeandink, do you have it, by any chance? I can't find it....)And specifically, apparently it's not just women who fall in love with/become subservient to their rapists in the Pern canon, but men as well.
