Progress notes for 21 November 2004
New Words: 2566
Total Words: 78,030 MS Word, 87K manuscript
Reason for stopping: Time to go get some dinner soon.
Mammalian Assistance: Paladin being obnoxious. Mebd twining ankles.
Stimulants: Edamame and tea
Exercise: none of significance. Cough, go away so I can walk again!
Mail: Contrib copy of Interzone. Very shiny. (Actually came yesterday, but Kit didn't hand it to me until bedtime, after I'd missed it in the pile). Also, a rejection from Strange Horizons on a story that may just be too meta to sell. I love it, but I'm not sure it's successful in what it's trying to do. Ah well. It's got a few more kicks in it before I declare it dead.
Tyop du jour: the chain that ailed Tribute to the wall
Darling du jour: (Jackie on hiking blasted canyon roadbeds with a bunch of goths and TV spies) The hike back down is dangerous, especially if you're almost all stupid enough to be wearing black.
Books in progress: Ed Sanders, Tales of Beatnik Glory
Other writing-related work: none
