Progress notes

(You might like the gypsy life / you judge your progress by the phases of the moon / get your compass and your sharpest knife/ people love you when they know you're leaving soon)

Progress notes for 22 November 2004

One-Eyed Jack

New Words: 1033
Total Words: 79063
Pages: 350
Reason for stopping:  Must get boy from work--between houseguests and dinner things tonight, not sure I'll get any more words today.
Mammalian Assistance: Backrubs from DJ. Yay! Also, Marlowe on the mousepad and the chair back and stealing bits of my apple, too. And Signy being poky, and Paladin snoring.
Stimulants: Miso, tea with honey
Exercise: none yet.
Mail: Has not yet arrived.
Tyop du jour: even in the shelter of the nimivan.
Darling du jour: Despite the low bright moon casting everything below in strobe-sharp relief, all he could see over the wind-rippled sea of tamarisk was a few stark chimneys, limned white with precipitated calcium and mineral salts, and the black, clawed skeletons of waterlogged shade trees.
Books in progress: Ed Sanders, Tales of Beatnik Glory
Other writing-related work: none

Comments

I'm so glad he could provide mammalian assistance!
He's a lovely mammal.
*dies laughing*

You're sick, Curgoth. You and your Backstreet-Bay-blue eyes. Sick, sick, sick.
I adore that darling. I may have to attempt memorisation.
Thank you. I was wondering if it had too many words, personally....

Wow

... chimneys, limned white with precipitated calcium and mineral salts, and the black, clawed skeletons of waterlogged shade trees.

That's very beautiful.

Re: Wow

Thank you. *blush*
