Yes, it was more important to make muppet icons than

to work on the Tindalosi Donna Tartt New Yorker story. The hounds are giving me a hard time about their motivation. "Fimbulwinter" doesn't appear to be enough for them. Maybe "Yog-Sothoth sez so" will work.

Writing was easier--and faster--before I knew what I was doing.

You know, I had the cosmology for this story worked out, and it's taking so long to write that I've forgotten what it was. Maybe I'll go take a shower and see if it soaks into my brain.

Ah, well. At least I got my check deposited and the grocery shopping done.
