Now that I've talked to a few people with letters after their names about the physics of my shiny idea and figured out a few more cultural details on either side, Carnival has decided I have all the pieces I need to start writing it, so I've started writing it. Sort of. This isn't official writing, you understand. This is just sort of poking it to see where it goes. No stress, no fuss, no muss, no worry.

All the time in the world.
