Interesting research fact of the day: It is a wonderful thing to look at the tree, and to look at the tree, and to see that they are the same tree and yet they are not. (That painting hangs in the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford. I love it so. )

That copy is "wrong,"--O'Keeffe preferred this orientation, so it looks as if you are lying on your back, staring up the trunk.
Other writing-related work: slushed. Also, managed two handwritten pages of notes on the book, and several major backstory revelations worked themselves out in my head, and my list of questions to be answered keeps growing. Headwork day, in other words.

By the way, if you write fantasy, and you are not reading limyaael, you probably should be. It will make you laugh, or cringe, or both.

BTW--Progress notes, lj-cut, lj-uncut, or don't care? I'm taking a poll.
